Trigger: Appointment cancelled

Starts when an appointment is cancelled, by the guest or by you. Who cancelled is recorded on the appointment.

Step by step

1. Create an automation and choose "Appointment cancelled" as its trigger.
2. Add the steps, such as a task to find a new time, and switch it on.

Can I tell who cancelled?

The record's history says so. In a condition you check the appointment status; telling apart who cancelled is not selectable there yet.

Does the guest get a cancellation?

Yes, with a calendar file that removes the entry from their calendar. The module sends it itself.

Does a cancellation free the time?

Yes. The host is immediately free for another appointment at that time.

Does it fire when an appointment moves?

No. Moving is not cancelling; that is "Appointment moved".
