Trigger: Appointment took place

1 min read

Starts when an appointment's outcome is set to "Took place". It never happens on its own; a person sets it.

Step by step

  1. Create an automation and choose "Appointment took place" as its trigger.
  2. Add what follows, for example distributing the record or changing the stage, and switch it on.

Why is it not set automatically?

Because a statistic that looks good by itself is worth nothing. And "Host did not show" would never be recorded.

What if someone picks the wrong outcome?

The outcome can be changed. The change fires the trigger of the new outcome; what the first one started stays.

Which appointment is '{{ appointment }}'?

The one whose outcome was set, even if the next one is already waiting on the record.

When can the outcome be set?

Once the appointment has started. Before that it cannot have taken place.
