Distribution completed

Starts when a distribution has finished and the delivery status is settled. The trigger for anything that needs the final state — a confirmation to the customer, a note, a stage change.
Step by step
- Through the menu at the top right of the Records page create an automation and take Distribution completed as the trigger.
- Save the trigger.
- Make the first step a filter if only successful deliveries are meant.
- Set the remaining steps, switch it on and let a record run through.
How is this different from the Distribute to partners step?
Right after the step the partner is known but delivery has not happened yet. To say that something has arrived, wait for this trigger.
Does it fire when delivery failed?
Yes — completed means the attempt is over, not that it succeeded. A filter on the status separates the two.
How long does it take from distributing to here?
Usually minutes. With a failure and retries up to a good hour, because the attempts run five, fifteen and sixty minutes apart.
Does it fire several times with several buyers?
No, once per distribution. If you need the individual delivery, look at the delivery list.
