Form Builder Overview

The Form Builder is Leadflip's visual tool for creating lead capture forms. With a drag-and-drop interface, you can build forms that match your brand, collect exactly the data you need, and automatically create leads in your CRM. Every form is tied to an Entity, ensuring a single source of truth across your entire pipeline.

What the Form Builder Does

The Form Builder lets you:

  • Design forms visually – No code required. Drag fields from your Entity onto the canvas and arrange them with a few clicks.
  • Capture and update leads – Form submissions create new leads in your CRM, or update existing leads when a lead token or ID is passed through the URL.
  • Customize appearance – Control labels, placeholders, help text, and field widths to match your brand.
  • Add logic – Use conditional logic to show or hide fields based on other field values.
  • Build multi-page forms – Split long forms into multiple pages with clear navigation.
  • Embed anywhere – Add forms to your website via script tag or share a direct link.

How Forms Connect to Entities

Forms are always tied to an Entity. When you create a form, you select which Entity it will use. The form then pulls its available fields from that Entity's field definitions. This means:

  • Consistency – The same fields appear in forms, CRM, distribution, and API.
  • No duplication – Add or change a field in the Entity, and it's available everywhere.
  • Validation – Required fields, types, and constraints flow from the Entity to the form.
