Understanding the Dashboard

The Dashboard is the page you land on when you log in. It's a quick at-a-glance view of activity in your account, with shortcuts into each module.

Where to find it

Sidebar > Dashboard. It's the top item, with a 4-square grid icon.

Leadflip dashboard with three module cards: CRM, Distribution, Forms

The three module cards

The main area is three side-by-side cards: CRM, Distribution, Forms. Each one shows headline numbers for that module plus a deep-link.

CRM card

  • Total Leads. How many leads are currently in your CRM, summed across all stages.
  • New Today. How many leads were created today (timezone is your account's configured timezone).
  • Recent Activity. The five most recent lead-creation events, each showing the lead's primary identifier and how long ago it arrived. Click any entry to jump straight to that lead.
  • Open → link in the top-right opens the Kanban board.

Distribution card

  • Earnings (current month). Total revenue earned from distributed leads in the active month, in your Entity's distribution currency.
  • Delivered. Count of successful deliveries in the current month.
  • Failed. Count of failed delivery attempts in the current month.
  • Manage → link opens Distribution.

Forms card

  • Active Forms. Number of published forms.
  • Submissions. Total form submissions in the current month.
  • Manage Forms / Builder → opens the Form Builder.

The numbers are scoped to your active Entity. If you have multiple Entities (e.g., "Insurance Leads" and "Mortgage Leads"), switch between them using the Entity selector in the page header. Each Entity has its own counts.

The sidebar

The sidebar is always visible on desktop and collapses to a hamburger menu on smaller screens. It has two sections.

Main menu

The day-to-day modules:

Item Goes to
Dashboard This page.
Forms Form Builder. Drag-and-drop lead-capture forms.
CRM Kanban board. Manage leads through pipeline stages.
Campaigns Campaigns. Bulk email to leads by stage.
Distribution Distribution. Route leads to partners.

Configuration

Less-frequent settings:

Item Goes to
Entities Entities. Define what a "lead" is for each use case.
Partners Partner Management. Your distribution buyers.
Account Settings Account Settings. Branding, team, billing, API.

A red dot on Account Settings in the sidebar means there's something that needs your attention there. Usually it's Email Settings not being configured (SMTP), which blocks campaigns and automation emails.

Help Center

At the bottom: a link out to this help center, plus a floating ? button in the bottom-right of every page that opens the article most relevant to your current screen.

The top bar

Above the page content, the top bar shows:

  • Hamburger. Toggle the sidebar (especially on mobile).
  • Breadcrumb. Leadflip > Dashboard, or whatever page you're on.
  • Invite icon (person with +). Shortcut to Inviting Team Members.
  • Settings cog. Shortcut to Account Settings.
  • Bell. Notifications (mentions, task reminders, system alerts).
  • Theme toggle. Light/dark mode.
  • Your user menu (initials chip). Switch accounts, edit profile, log out.

Why the numbers might look different from a colleague's

Dashboard numbers are global to the account but scoped to the active Entity. Two reasons they can differ across team members:

  • Different active Entity. Your dashboard shows Insurance Leads; their dashboard shows Mortgage Leads. Switch to compare.
  • Different account. If your organization has multiple Leadflip accounts, each one is separate. Use the account switcher in the top-left of the sidebar.

Mobile layout

On a phone or narrow window:

  • The sidebar collapses to a hamburger menu. Tap to open, tap outside to close.
  • The three module cards stack vertically.
  • The recent activity feed under the CRM card stays full-width.
  • The top bar and floating help button work the same.

All features remain available; only the layout adapts.

What the Dashboard does NOT show

  • Per-partner performance. Use Distribution Analytics for that.
  • Per-campaign stats. Open the specific campaign in Campaigns.
  • Per-form submission history. Use Forms > Submissions.
  • Activity log of admin actions. See Account Settings > Activity Log.

The Dashboard is intentionally a high-level summary. Drill down into each module for the detail.
