Notifications

Leadflip keeps you informed with email and in-app notifications so you never miss a mention or a task deadline.

Notification Center

The notification center is accessed via the bell icon in the top-right header bar, between Settings and the theme switcher.

  • A red badge on the bell shows your unread notification count.
  • Click the bell to open a dropdown with your 20 most recent notifications.
  • Click any notification to mark it as read and navigate directly to the relevant lead.
  • Use Mark all read at the top of the dropdown to clear all unread notifications at once.

Types of Notifications

Mentions

When a team member @mentions you in a note, call log, or email entry on a lead, you receive:

  • An email with the note content and a link to the lead.
  • An in-app notification in the bell dropdown, showing who mentioned you and on which lead.

Mentions appear with an @ icon in the notification center.

Task Assigned

When someone assigns you a new task on a lead, you receive:

  • An email with the task description, due date (if set), and a link to the lead.
  • An in-app notification showing who assigned the task and a preview of the description.

Task assignments appear with a clipboard icon in the notification center.

Task Due / Overdue Reminders

When a task with a due date reaches its deadline and hasn't been completed:

  • You receive a daily email reminder every morning at 08:00 UTC.
  • You receive a daily in-app notification.
  • Reminders continue until the task is marked as complete.

Overdue task notifications appear with a yellow clipboard icon in the notification center.

Email Notifications

All notifications are sent to the email address associated with your Leadflip account. Emails are sent from the application's configured sender address and include:

  • A clear subject line (e.g., "You were mentioned in a note for John Doe" or "New task assigned: Call back Friday").
  • The relevant content (note text or task description).
  • A View Lead button linking directly to the lead in Leadflip.

Managing Notifications

Action How
View notifications Click the bell icon in the header
Mark one as read Click the notification
Mark all as read Click Mark all read at the top of the dropdown
Stop task reminders Complete the task by checking the checkbox in the lead timeline

Best Practices

  • Check the bell regularly — A glance at the badge count tells you if there's something new.
  • Complete tasks to silence reminders — The quickest way to stop daily reminders is to mark the task as done.
  • Use mentions sparingly — Only @mention someone when you genuinely need their attention on a specific note.
