Partner Portal

The Partner Portal is a self-service area where your distribution partners can log in to view their leads, invoices, and profile. Partners access it at a dedicated URL (e.g., /partner/login or your app's partner subdomain). You manage partner accounts and permissions from your admin side; partners use the portal to stay informed without needing you to send manual reports.

Partner portal login

Accessing the Partner Portal

  1. Partners navigate to the partner login URL (e.g., https://yourapp.com/partner/login).
  2. Partners enter their email and password (or use a password reset flow if needed).
  3. After login, they see their dashboard with leads, invoices, and profile info.

Inviting partners: You create partner accounts and send invites (or temporary passwords) from the Partners section (see Partner Management).

What Partners See

Dashboard

  • Summary stats – Total leads received, leads this month, recent activity.
  • Quick links – To leads, invoices, and profile.

Partner dashboard

Leads

  • Lead list – Leads delivered to them, with key fields (name, email, date received, etc.).
  • Search and filter – Partners can search and filter their leads.
  • Export – Download their leads as CSV (if enabled).

Note: Partners only see leads that were delivered to them. They do not see your full CRM or other partners' leads.

Invoices

  • Invoice list – Past and current invoices.
  • Download – PDF or CSV download for each invoice.
  • Status – Paid, pending, or overdue (if configured).

Profile

  • Contact info – Update their email, phone, or address.
  • Delivery settings – View or update webhook URL, email preferences (if you allow partner self-service for these).
  • Password – Change their password.

Permissions and Security

  • Isolated data – Each partner sees only their own leads and invoices.
  • Account isolation – Partners cannot access your main app or other partners' data.
  • Audit – Partner logins and actions can be logged for compliance.

Enabling the Partner Portal

The partner portal is typically enabled per account. If you don't see it:

  1. Check Settings or Distribution configuration.
  2. Ensure partner accounts have portal access enabled.
  3. Ensure partners have received login credentials (email + invite or temporary password).

Best Practices

  • Onboard clearly – Send partners a welcome email with the login URL and how to reset their password.
  • Set expectations – Tell partners what they can view (leads, invoices) and what they can't (other partners, your CRM).
  • Keep credentials secure – Use strong passwords and consider SSO if you have many partners.
