Partner Portal
The Partner Portal is a separate login experience for your distribution partners. Each partner sees only their own data: the leads you delivered to them, their invoices, and their settings. The portal removes most of the "can you send me a list of last week's leads?" emails and gives partners a clean view of what they bought from you.
Where partners log in
Partners go to https://www.leadflip.net/partner/login (or your custom partner subdomain if configured). They authenticate with the email address you set up for them in Partner Management.
The partner portal is a fully separate authentication scope from your main Leadflip account. Partners never see your CRM, your other partners, or anything outside what you've explicitly delivered to them.

Setting up portal access
- Open the partner record in Sidebar > Partners.
- Find the Portal Access section.
- Toggle Enable portal access.
- Set the partner's login email (defaults to their primary contact email).
- Pick the permissions you want them to have (see Permissions below).
- Click Send invitation. The partner receives a welcome email with a one-time link to set their password.
What partners see in the portal
Leads
Every lead that has been delivered to this partner. Each row shows:
- Lead identifier (name, email, or whatever field your Entity uses as the display name)
- Date and time of delivery
- Status (accepted, rejected, pending review)
- Quick actions if you've enabled them (accept, reject, return)
Partners can search and filter their leads, and download their full lead list as CSV. Encrypted fields are decrypted before they appear, just like in delivery payloads.
Invoices
Every invoice you've issued to this partner. Each invoice can be downloaded as PDF (with the embedded ZUGFeRD/XRechnung XML for EU partners). Invoice status (Open, Paid, Overdue) is visible.
Profile
Partners can update some of their own information:
- Contact email and phone
- Billing address (subject to your permission setting)
- Password and 2FA settings (recommended for all partners)
What partners cannot edit from the portal:
- Their VAT ID or tax number (you control this to prevent invoice fraud)
- Their pricing or cap configuration
- Their delivery method or webhook URL
- Their assignment to Distribution Profiles
Permissions
When you enable portal access, you choose what the partner can do:
| Permission | Default | What it allows |
|---|---|---|
| View leads | On | See the lead list and lead detail |
| Download leads | On | CSV export of their lead list |
| Accept / reject | Off | Mark leads as accepted or rejected from the portal; rejections feed back into your distribution analytics |
| Return leads | Off | Request a refund/credit for a lead they consider invalid |
| View invoices | On | See invoice history and download PDFs |
| Edit profile | Limited | Edit contact info; never edit billing/tax fields |
Security
- Strong passwords required. Minimum 12 characters with complexity rules.
- 2FA available and strongly recommended. Encourage partners to enable it during onboarding.
- Session timeouts apply. Idle partners are logged out automatically.
- Audit log. Every login and every accept/reject/return action is logged on your side. You can see who did what and when.
- Data scoping. Hard-enforced at the query level. A partner has no way to see another partner's data, even with crafted requests.
Onboarding checklist for a new partner
- Add the partner record with full contact and billing details.
- Enable portal access; send the invite.
- Configure their assignments in a Distribution Profile.
- Send a test lead so they have something real to look at on first login.
- Schedule a brief check-in with the partner after their first week to make sure they're comfortable with the portal.
Common questions partners ask
"Why is my lead count different from your invoice?" The portal lead count includes all deliveries. The invoice covers a specific billing period. Make sure they're comparing matching date ranges. Also: cancelled leads remain visible in the portal but are excluded from invoices.
"Why can't I edit my billing address?" Edit permission for billing fields is disabled by default to prevent invoice tampering. If a partner needs to update their billing details, they should email you and you can update them in their partner record.
"Where do I see returns I've requested?" The portal shows the status of each lead. Returned leads appear in their own filter tab. Once you (or your team) approve a return on your side, it shows as Approved in the portal.
Disabling portal access
If you need to revoke a partner's access (terminated agreement, security incident, requested by partner):
- Open the partner record.
- Toggle Enable portal access off.
The partner is immediately logged out and their account is disabled. Their historical data remains intact for your reports. Re-enabling restores their access without losing anything.
